Electronic reception (Visitor Management System) and wayfinding system built on TouchInform software automate interaction with Diamond Hall visitors.
Why does the business center need an electronic reception?
The large Moscow business center Diamond Hall, which houses the headquarters of Russian and foreign business, needed to:
automate interactions with visitors (visitor management system);
release the reception and security staff;
inform visitors about the companies located in the business center;
serves as a wayfinding system;
gets quick feedback from visitors.
We solved the tasks by implementing an electronic reception and wayfinding system built on TouchInform software and interactive kiosks Platan.
How we deployed the project
In Diamond Hall, our engineers created a network of information kiosks and touch monitors that help visitors navigate the business center and get permanent access to all the information on the companies placed there.
Our team developed the information system based on the building plan and covered all the areas: offices, cafes, service facilities, elevators, and parking. On digital kiosks, visitors can get access to the interactive map, quickly find the desired object and build the shortest way to it.
The information system contains complete data on all the companies in the business center, including their schedules, contacts, and brief profiles.
To provide interaction with visitors, we created the Feedback System and the Quality Assessment System. The first one transfers the visitors’ messages to the Diamond Hall administration; the second one allows them to rate the quality of the Business Center services.
We even envisaged the possibility of printing all the information about services, rules, and safety in the Business Center.
Equipment for the Digital reception
The wayfinding and visitor registration system works on the information kiosk Platan.
Platan uses a vandal-proof touch screen Elo SecureTouch made of 6 mm tempered glass;
We branded the kiosk metal housing with Diamond Hall corporate colors;
The visitor check-in kiosk has a multi-touch screen, allowing the objects to be rotated and scaled.
Safe and reliable kiosk components ensure 24-hours uninterrupted operation. In addition, the rugged steel housing can withstand any damage, looks elegant and modern, and takes just 1 square meter.
One can find a complete description of the digital kiosk Platan on the manufacturer’s website.
An educational center of a new type has opened in Kemerovo city recently. The digital school in Lesnaya Polyana invited more than a thousand children to its classes. The school uses the latest digital technologies and modern equipment to educate a new generation of children. Among the innovations are touch kiosks, multimedia devices, and digital laboratories for natural sciences studying and research.
To make children adopt new knowledge and skills better, the school needed an interactive system that allows learners to find the information independently. Touch Systems developers proposed an effective solution. Relying on TouchInform: Navigator software and digital kiosks, they built the Interactive guide on the Kuzbass region. The system contains historical and geographical data and other interesting information on the area and its local towns.
How the Interactive guide works
The school has launched an Interactive guide to involve children in self-education. The project uses touch kiosks, special software, and a video wall to present all the information to a large audience.
The software part of the solution displays the map of the Kemerovo region and allows one to explore any locality on its territory. In addition, one can get an information card on the chosen city with place descriptions, historical references, and a sightseeing video. All the data is broadcasted simultaneously on the interactive kiosks and video wall.
The scholars and their parents are interested in innovative learning with game elements. For example, at the school opening, they enjoyed digital kiosks to watch interesting videos about their environments and learn the history of their city.

Equipment for the digital school
For its interactive learning system, the school of Kemerovo chose our Elo-Line kiosk, which features the following:
low base and comfortable screen tilt angle that makes it easy for use by children;
multi-touch screen, allowing to rotate and scaling of the objects;
large 55-inch display for exceptional quality images, attracting the children’s attention.
Our developers provided several scenarios for the Interactive guide:
video presentation mode,
joint lessons mode,
teaching to a large audience.
The interactive display Elo-Line is a modern solution for interactive learning and information system for any educational institution, including schools, playschools, colleges, and universities.
